完成時(shí)。ever since可作為副詞，解釋“此后”（就一直……），是完成時(shí)的標(biāo)志。如He's been there ever since you left!意思是自從你離開后他就一直在那里！ever since表達(dá)的意思是“自從、從那時(shí)到現(xiàn)在、自…以后、從…起”。
ever since的用法1.ever since的結(jié)構(gòu)：(作為連詞)=since完成時(shí)態(tài)----ever since+主+動(dòng)詞簡單過去式
例：I have known him ever since he was a child. 他從小我就認(rèn)識他了。這種用法同since差不多，不過ever since比since用得少。
再如：We have lived in Shanghai ever since we came to China.(自從我們來到***之后就住在上海。)
2.以上所說的ever since作為連詞。ever since也可作為副詞，解釋“此后”(就一直...)。例：
He fell ill at Christmas and has been ill ever since. 他在圣誕節(jié)生病了此后就一直不適。(has + be ill)
He left home last year and has been away ever since. 他去年離家走了，此后一直在外面。(has+be away)
He fell off his horse a week ago and has been in bed ever since. 一周前他從馬背上跌下來，從那以后就一直躺在床上。
He went to Turkey in 1950 and has lived there ever since. 他在1950年去土耳其，此后就一直住在那里。
