assuming that的用法

assuming that（假設(shè)/如果）本身是用作條件狀語(yǔ)的分詞短語(yǔ)，因此可以把它視作引導(dǎo)條件從句的連詞，相當(dāng)于if 的用法。條件從句有兩種情況：一種是真實(shí)語(yǔ)氣，表示基本與事實(shí)相符；一種是虛擬語(yǔ)氣，表示不符合或不一定符合事實(shí)。assuming that 的用法也是如此。

如對(duì)下面句子的兩種不同表述：

就算你是對(duì)的，這件事也沒(méi)什么我可以做的。

Assuming you're right, there's not much I can do about it. 【心里承認(rèn)對(duì)方是對(duì)的，只是口頭上不服氣】
